Super location and one of the best breakfasts I have seen. There is no gym in the hotel but one may use the city fitness center free of charge (walking distance).

Breakfast was very good. My friend liked bacon very much. Room was standard with adjustable temperature both heating and cooling. Bathroom floor also has heating. If you are planning to visit Ålesund, then it takes about 40 minutes driving, also need to take a ferry. But if you also want to visit bird island. The location is just in the middle.

The reservation was for a room that could not occupy pets, but the receptionist changed our room in exchange for the cost of the pet fee.
